Wednesday—Unexpected Treasure
We invite you to share with us a book or genre you tried due to the influence of another blogger. What made you cave in to try something new and what was the experience like?
I have checked out pretty much everything recommended from the Guys Lit Wire blog. The reviews really entice me and I find myself liking the same books and agreeing with the reviewers upon novel completion. I am also finding myself really finding the reviews of Presenting Lenore as well. I cannot forget my good blogger friend Haley Mathiot who has a cool blog named The Life and Lies of Inanimate Flying Objects. Some of my recent books that I have read based on suggestions are
Sometimes you need to get out of your shell and try something new. I follow so many blogs it is quite ridiculous. From time to time I will check out a book that I remembered being loved on one of the many blogs. From there I will give it a try and sometimes I will discover a great read that I never would have even considered had it not been for someone suggesting the book and making it aware to me. That is why blogging is so important. We may never know who we impact, but if at least someone is giving a book a try, then our job has been accomplished.
