Coffee For The Brain Mastermind Group

Bringing Focus to my PLN and Learning

The following is a statement that I posting on my 10,632 groups, communities, and networks I have created over time. It is time to stop chasing squirrels and bring clarity to my digital life to help my overall life goals.

Hello everyone,

First and foremost I would like to start off by saying thank you. Thank you for being part of my learning journey. Thank you for being part of my crazy ideas. Thank you for taking the leap with me to figuring out what works and what does not work for learning and success. I want to say thank you.

Most of you are incredible. You always provide support, ideas, answers to my questions, and more importantly join the groups that I have created to make them work. Over time I have dabbled in just about everything there is to dabble in.

And what have I learned? A great deal not worth mentioning in one post.

However, one key element that has stood out over time which will come as no surprise to anyone is this – we cannot operate at our best levels when we spread ourselves too thin. I have reached a point where I have done that.

For those that don’t know I have a taken a new job. I am also launching a non-profit STEM space. I am also trying to be a good husband and father to my family. I also like time to drink coffee, read, and fart in the wind. I also really want to finish this book I have been working on for year. These have become my focus areas! I know, still too many, but it is where I am at in my journey.

What does this all mean and why am I sharing?

I am condensing my online life. I have many Facebook groups I have started. I have many Google Groups as well. I also use social media like crazy in addition to my blog and YouTube video creations. I do a lot and it is time to reduce the elements. I also crosspost too much and just make too much work for myself and others.

This is my first step to bring focus and minimize the distractions.

I am closing down all the groups that I operate. If you are reading this post, then you are in one of those groups. Now, please dry that tear trickling down your face(insert sarcasm!). Things are not over by any means. I am retooling my workflow.

Starting effective August 1st, I will be shutting down these groups. In replacement, I will be moving all the ideas, thoughts, and more to a new Coffee For The Brain Mastermind Group . I am going to make this a private group. It will become the one stop shop for all things awesome for living life to the fullest. I am switching the group from public to private and in essence rebranding the group to be a mastermind group. This is where I will share things not available to the general public. It will be discussions and thoughts not posted to my blog. In essence, I am trying to create a super powerful and personal network of people who want to really push things forward in life. You will be my go to people.

It is going to rock. The book club will be posted in the group. It will simply be what I am reading for the month with chances for us to discuss. I am hoping to run monthly Facebook Live videos for us to connect and share on ideas. There will be things to give away. There will be early access to things that others won’t have. It is going to be this organic movement of coffeechuggers raising hell on the internet to create social good.

So, realize that these groups will be going away soon. I would encourage you to move over to the Coffee For The Brain Mastermind Group if you still wish to be connected with all things awesome. If you choose not to, then that is fine and I honor your decision to make a choice that will make your life better.

This is the first step of many to bring more focus and clarity to my life and hopefully yours with an end result of better content and conversations for all.

I hope you join me on this next leap and I thank you for all the networking support over the years. This is the next big leap. Are you ready to jump?
