Half Marathon Training – Week 3 – Thursday

Well, I don’t have a whole lot to report this morning. I ran my 4 easy miles at a 8:53 pace today. I felt pretty good at the end and not tired much at all. My breathing was very relaxed and could have held a conversation if needed. My upper body is sore from the workout yesterday. My foam roller came in from Amazon yesterday. I tried to work out some soreness from my legs and my quads hurt so bad when rolling on the foam roller.

Holy cow! I plan on working out my soreness a few times today and tomorrow. I think that will help some of my aches and pains. Another sign I am getting old. I will be up at the Bix Friday night as both of my kids will be running the Bix Jr. This is my first time ever attending the Bix and all the race events and festivities. I look forward to a good time. I will post again after the race on Saturday and hopefully it will be a positive review. I just have to get myself out of the massive hoard of the 20,000+ people around me.
