Must get moving – Half Marathon – Week 2 Day 3 – Lifting

Alright, so I have a day off of running today. I did workout this morning doing 5 sets of 8 of decline bench press, pull ups, swiss ball push ups and 100 bicycle crunches. Feeling pretty good today. I have a mile running circuit on the track tomorrow so will post results for that.

Today I begin to paint the kitchen. I spent a large amount of time yesterday taping the kitchen. We have kitchen that has more nooks and crannies that normal. After doing all of that I was not in the mood to paint. Time escaped and ran out of time anways.

I must finish For the Win by Cory Doctorow this week. I just don’t have time to sit and read. This novel is not one where you can just casually read here and there. There are many plot lines that I must focus on. Why do I want this book finished? I need to start Pillars of Earth so I watch the new TV series based on the book. This starts on the 23rd so I need to get going.

Finally, Twilight, the first movie arrived for me at the library. I converted it to my iPad and want to watch this as well. Will post my thoughts on the movie when I finally get to watching this as well. By the way, we went to watch Despicable Me on Sunday. What a great movie. My wife and I loved the movie. It cracked me up several times and also had a good message. My kids liked it as well. Of course, we had to eat at IHOP the next day for breakfast and my daughter wanted to know where the little yellow guys were. So, if you are bored, go check out the film.

I am off to read, paint, and deal with my children who are 1000 miles an hour all the time.
