After providing my son one hour to write his name on 20 Spongebob Valentine Cards for school Monday.
Wife: Aiden how are they coming along?
Aiden:(In a loud voice, but not a yell) It is just too hard to concentrate right now
We realized at that moment that one
1. Scooby Doo monsters place him in a trance of ultimate fixation
Aiden: Dad, don’t worry. These monsters are just big costumes that people wear. They are not REAL monsters.
2. As soon as he wrote his name for that one special girl nobody else mattered. Yes, he is only in preschool, but he had the one card picked out right away.
We finally finished after about 90 minutes of patience. Good times
