#25daysofmaking Day 10: Recycled Chip Bag Keyrings

25 Days of Making

2019 Edition

Dear friends,

Welcome to the 10th day of making. Another project using materials that don’t have to go to the trash. And I LOVE this project. My youngest daughter just thinks this is one of the coolest things ever. It is cheap and a cooler version of shrinky dinks

Amy Anderson is an incredible art teacher who you need to follow on Instagram. I find so much inspiration in her work that she shares that you won’t want to miss!

Learn more about the Amy on our maker page.

Join our  FB Group dedicated to this project to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with other makers.

Create

Make this yourself. Or have older students design one for younger students. Or use in your STEM store or STEM event as a fundraiser. There are so many potential opportunities for deep learning that this could really become something special for your school to design and create. What are other materials that you could sample to make your own key chain?

Please share any thoughts and ideas from this project.

Add your project or any other projects you are working on through these options to share how you approached today’s challenge or the one from yesterday. Then, check out and comment on some other examples when they are shared.

Reflect

Take a moment to reflect on your creative process? Create a notebook, use a Google Doc, Evernote, Word Document….. What did you like most about your project? What would you do with it next, if you had more time? What are you planning to do?

Looking forward to hearing your adventures in making
