Dear my amazing group of makers,
Welcome to day 25. This is it! We have reached day 25. 25 projects. 25 amazing ideas curated by people who are passionate about education and teaching and making. I hope you have found yourself inspired by the project ideas.
I cannot thank the people who created the projects and pages enough. We all know how busy everyone is especially this time of year. They were not paid. They were not given gifts and a ton of celebrity level status. However, this work should be worthy of such treatment.
As we head to our final day I want to say thank you to all of you who contritubted. I want to say thank you to all of you who made learning fun with their students. I want to say thank you to those who tried something new. I want to say thank you to those who shared your work with the world.
This has become something so much more rewarding and exciting than I could have ever imagined a few months ago while pondering life driving in my car.
Thank you.
And with that I am pleased to announce that we do have 5 bonus projects. On the 26th we will share 5 more projects bringing our total to 30. Because of the outreach I simply could not turn away such wonderful people and ideas. I hope you are okay with a bonus week of making.

So what about the project today? Day 25 project today comes from The Nerdy Teacher. He is the one who brought us Day 18. He is an educator who I constantly look to for guidance and how I can improve my own craft. Be sure to go to his website, read his books, and follow his journey online.
Back to the project. I am already doing this project. I am fascinated by this project as it scales up a project I do with teachers in my workshop called, “You can do what with LED’s?” where we make circuit blocks. This cranks this idea up a notch into a whole new level!
This is a great one to get student engaged in both making and coding. Dive in and make it happen? What other components to you have sitting around that you can use to create some cool contraptions?
Share
Add your project or any other projects you are working on through these options to share how you approached today’s challenge or the one from yesterday. Then, check out and comment on some other examples when they are shared.
Besides using the hashtag #25daysofmaking on Instagram and Twitter I am also posting the projects over on Facebook so you can interact on this platform as well.
Finally, don’t forget to head over to Flipgrid and introduce yourself and/or your students!
Reflect
This element is important! Don’t neglect reflection on your own learning. We must be lifelong learners and be models to our students.
Take a moment to reflect on your creative process by sharing with the hashtags and other mediums. Let us start a conversation about this concept. How did remixing help you? What questions do you still have about remixing?
