25 Days of Making
2019 Edition
“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.” —Zig Ziglar
Dear friends,
Welcome to the seventh day of making for the #25daysofmaking. Today we feature a maker and educator who has already shared one project and has more to come. I love the WHY behind the project shared by Naomi Harm, @NaomiHarm , for the project today.
Holiday gratitude cards are a great way to have students reflect on cherished learning memories, and influential people in their lives. Why not give back to this special individuals, and thank them with a creative gratitude holiday card, and learn about simple circuits at the same time.

The project today uses my favorite device, the micro:bit. It is one I love so much that I owe 60 of them personally! You will love this project and it is a great way to add some festive lighting to your space.
Join our FB Group dedicated to this project to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with other makers.
Create
Naomi has created a project that is not only fun to make, but can brighten up the day for someone else. Anytime we can make with a purpose it is a win. Consider how you can use this to have your children/students give thanks to someone in their lives. Anytime we receive something handmade it always makes it feel that much more special.
Add your project or any other projects you are working on through these options to share how you approached today’s challenge or the one from yesterday. Then, check out and comment on some other examples when they are shared.
Reflect
Take a moment to reflect on your creative process? Create a notebook, use a Google Doc, Evernote, Word Document….. What did you like most about your project? What would you do with it next, if you had more time? What are you planning to do?
Looking forward to hearing your adventures in making
