Driving home from ISTE I was processing my next moves in my learning and where I want to take things. Something that I thought I would like to learn how to do is create DIY videos without audio. At many workshops I considered the following issues
- Too much noise
- Poor audio quality or sound system
- People at different stages of learning that may or may not have headphones
- Can we create a personalized learning environment where people are not tuned out with headphones? What if I wanted to bring people back for whole group instruction?
- Can I create learning environments for those with audio impairment or language barrier?
These were the ideas that I need to consider to ensure learning for all.
So, I have attempted to create a video without me speaking. This was hard. I have done it with a project that so many people love and want to do. It is not hard or difficult, but a ton of fun and kids LOVE doing this!
This is also marks a new series I am working to develop where I plan to share out my tips and tricks for all things maker and DIY!
I hope you enjoy. I would love feedback, thoughts, questions, and any ideas.
Hi Aaron. Interesting way of presenting a topic! I have a few presentations coming up and I will give this a try. Thanx.
