Educators Stuck At The Crossroads

Bone Bone Bone Bone.. Bone.. Bone.. Bone.. Bone.. Bone
Now tell me whatcha gonna do
when there ain’t no where to run (tell me what)
(When judgment comes for you, when judgment comes for you)
And whatcha gonna do
when there ain’t no where to hide (tell me what)
When judgment comes for you (Cause it’s gonna come for you)

Educators at some point in their career hit the crossroads. It is that point in time where you feel like you have seen it all. Where you feel like the circle is going around again taking you back to where you started. Or perhaps you feel like you have it all figured out and there is nothing new to learn.

It is at this point when we face the crossroads and have to make a decision.

Do you take the path that leads you to being cranky, grumpy, and unhappy where you are set in your ways?

Do you take the path that allows you to reinvent yourself as a dreamer ready to be a crazy thinker and a visionary?

I cannot tell you what path to take. Perhaps you hit the crossroads several times in life and have to keep making decisions.

Is it worth it to be set in your ways and unhappy with the world changing around you? Maybe it is easier, but is it better? Only you can answer that question.

Is it worth it to keep going and learning new things? Maybe it is harder, but is it worth it to fail and start over? Only you can answer that question.

What will it be? Burst out of your bubble of comfort and ask “What if?” or hide in your shell and resist and stay protected?
