Final LEGO Ornament Post for 2019

I have taken time off of social media and my website so be present for the holidays. I am back and wanted to do one final wrap up post for the first year of the LEGO Ornament Challenge that connected to the LEGO campaign #buildtogive.

As you can see in the graphic, we ended up with 842 ornaments submitted. I cannot believe how incredible this is as an accomplishment. This idea generated from my friend Becky McDowell and we launched it to have some fun. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we could have such wonderful participation.

This is awesome. I want to say thank you. Thank you to the teachers, parents, adults kids, and everyone else who contributed. While it was a ton of work each day, it gave me a reason to head to the computer each day to be inspired by all of you.

We will do something like this again next year.

I created one final page of all the last submissions that you can access here.

As always, I look forward to future learning with all of you. If you have any feedback or insights to make this better next year or other ideas you would like to see please let me know.

I appreciate you and all you do and hope you enjoy the rest of the holiday break if you are lucky enough to have one.
