LEGO Ornament Challenge – Day 15 Submissions and Ornament Bulb Challenge

How did it get to be the weekend already? Crazy how time either moves at snail pace or zooms by in a second.

What an incredible week of ornament building from everyone. We have some classrooms and LEGO clubs knocking it out of the park with their submissions and builds. And we have kids at home submitting daily. To all of you I say thank you. Thank you for building, for giving yourself some creative thinking time, and for helping those in need this holiday season.

Be sure to check out this video by Jeff and all 50 of his incredible builds:

Check out the amazing snow globe build shared yesterday.

Check out all the amazing iterations of each ornament. It further proves that all of our ideas are “right”. There is no wrong.

As always, please check out the Flipgrid videos from students to hear their descriptions of their builds. I LOVE the world that opens up when they explain their builds. It really transforms the builds to a new level.

The build challenge for today is to make an ornament bulb. There are some good strategies online to make the sphere shape if interested in learning.

“Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall.”

Just a reminder that if you are new to all of this to start here on the home page, then learn about the Build To Give Campaign, and read through the FAQ which will answer most of your questions.

Now for our results from yesterday.

We had 51 new builds submitted yesterday.

We now have 399 submissions to date. Almost to 400!

Here are the latest submissions
