What a wonderful day of gathering with family and friends for Thanksgiving. Before all the eating, talking, and ad reading begins, I wanted to give a quick update on the latest builds from yesterday.
The wild-flower wreath of feeling, the sunbeam of the heart.
The build challenge for today is a wreath. If you are like me, then this is not something you normally build. Remember, there are no wrong builds when we use our creativity and imagination. Give yourself space to tinker and see what comes to be. And don’t forget to look at pictures of real wreaths as a guide. Sometimes having an idea to use as a starting point is very helpful. My daughter and I are currently using this technique as we are beginning a new challenge of building our own little town as we open up a build each day for our Advent calendar. As we process our homes we are using pictures of homes, we like to give us inspiration.
I have a wreath I need to build besides the one I already made because I found some cool green pieces that have sparked a new idea. Sometimes the elements can trigger new ideas.
We had seven submissions yesterday as you can see in the collage image above. This brings our new total to 102 submissions putting us over the 100 mark which is excellent. I cannot wait to reach our new goal of 200!
We had another four people join the challenge yesterday so we are now up to 117 people. With all the new people joining and cruising over 100 in the challenge I know we will reach 200 quickly once people have some time after the holidays.
I look forward to seeing wreath designs and any other ornament you are working on this holiday!
