Earlier this week I posted that the LEGO Ornament Challenge was coming on the 25th.
Well, I simply can’t wait any longer. The more I thought about it, I wanted people to have time this weekend to build.
So, the site is live!
All you need is LEGO. Nothing more. Nothing less. And whatever you, your family, students, or anyone else builds be sure to use the #BuildToGive hashtag so kids in need receive a LEGO kit this holiday season.
Learn more about the challenge here and see all the ornaments- bit.ly/ornamentlego19
Enjoy, and over time between now and the holidays I will update the site with ornament builds submitted by you and more.
What will you build first?
Sign up for the newsletter on the site so you don’t miss any details.

Thank you for sharing and participating. Looking forward to all the creative builds!
I have some snowflake builds coming up with students… and I plan to mention this challenge to them. Love the ideas that I have seen and have been sparked to come up with more. Can’t wait to see what folks create.
Thanks for joining! When your students build please share with me and I will feature their builds on the website to inspire others!
We had students in K-5 Build LEGO ornaments last years in our in-day LEGO/Robotics classes. We incorporated learning standards of math, science and even Language Arts in their creation and presentation. Planning to repeat this activity in December
