In this episode I speak with Lulu Miller. In case you don’t know who this amazing person is, here is her bio from her website
I am the co-founder of NPR’s Invisibilia about human behavior. I first fell for radio when I was a woodworker’s assistant in New York. And nothing was ever the same again. I somehow tricked the folks at Radiolab to hire me, and was lucky enough to be one of their producers for five years. From there I took a detour to study (and occasionally even write) fiction at the University of Virginia, and then came back to NPR to co-create Invisibilia with radio goddess Alix Spiegel.
I’ve just finished a book that I have been working on for about ten years. It is a sort of terrifying fairy tale that happens to be 100% true about how to go on when everything seems lost. It’s called Why Fish Don’t Exist and it will be published by Simon & Schuster in 2020! You can preorder my book HERE.
I hope you have some fun on my site. But I also hope you also get some sleep. It’s late sweet child, and there are dishes to do.
Also: Don’t you think Christopher Guest should make a movie about NPR?? ?
