25 Days of Making = 25 Projects for Teachers

Some of you might have seen some of my social media posts teasing this idea that I thought of on a long drive home from one of my weekend driving trips for my children.
I wanted to make sure I took some time here on my blog to make sure everyone is aware of this most BODACIOUS project ever!
I had this idea over the weekend for a cool challenge where I wanted to organize an event called 25 days of making. The idea is that each day on my blog starting on November 30th I will post a maker project leading up to Christmas. I like to think of it as an Advent Calendar of making. However, I am keeping all religious tones out of the conversation and just calling it 25 Days of Making.
As I was driving from one kid event to the other later that morning I started to map out a bunch of project ideas. And then I got an even better idea about bringing together all the people & products I love and admire to see if they might be interested in being a guest contributor by developing a project as part of the plan.

So, I started to email each and every single one of them to see if they might be interested.

And they started to say YES! and I was so happy.

We have this amazing event where we have over 20 makers sharing a project each day from November 20th – December 24th. I would love for the ideas to inspire and motivate educators to start using with their students!
While each project will have a holiday theme to them they are all projects that can be remixed to be used any time of the year. Trust me, these are some crazy good projects!
I hope you find this interesting and exciting. I hope you want to be part of the fun, making, sharing, and networking.
So, below is the link where you can learn more. Each day a new page will be unveiled starting November 30th, but for now the home page is live.
We would love it if you shared and let others know. The more the merrier.
Here is the site
Make sure you watch the video
Make sure you sign up for the newsletter so you don’t miss out on the projects.
If you want to contribute, then please let me know! I would love to feature as many projects as possible.
