CFU? Huh? What is this? And what does it mean?

CFU is Checking for Understanding. Most of us think formative and summative assessments. What we want to share is a large database of examples and tools that anyone can use in any grade, with any work load, class size, and school structure.

Our goal is twofold:

1. To show you that you are already doing many of these and….

2. They can be very easy(we don’t always have to overcomplicate everything)

How Do I Get Started?

Step 1: Start here as we are developing a folder full of examples that educators have gathered from their own self learning.

Step 2: Find one that you think is applicable to your classroom

Step 3: Use it

Step 4: Record the session via video, pictures, reflection, etc.

Step 5: Share it with us so we can spread the knowledge
