Flipgrid Challenge: Education Spaces Around The World

Hello friends,

Today we launch another fun activity to get students around the world beginning to understand and explore the Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. Before we dive into all that this goal means and actions taking place we need our students to understand what school and education looks like around the world.

Often we can only think of what school looks like based on our current school or life experiences.

This Flipgrid Challenge is designed to be fun and exciting.

We have 13 different topics for classrooms to share what their school looks and feels like. The more we share, the more we can learn and understand what schools have in common and what schools don’t have in common.

The rules are rather simple

  1. Head to the Flipgrid to access all 13 topics
  2. Complete as many as you can
  3. Be smart and safe and only share what you are allowed to do.

Following this post will be a follow up post with guided questions and lessons for you to use with your students when you explore all that everyone shares.

But for now, we need you to crowdsource and share as much as you can. The more voices and examples we can gather the greater our perspectives and ideas.

Let’s jump in. What does education look like where you live?

  1. Awesome. Thank you so much. Some years ago I ideated a photo sharing guide to 7 cities, where locals shared photos of shops, homes, cars, foods, etc…. I feel You are delivering “education” which I hadnt dreamed of as far as I know… Thanks again
