Flipgrid Geeking Webinar 1: Getting Started

Here is the recording of my first attempt at doing a Flipgrid Webinar for educators that support in Iowa. I have tried my best to edit down the parts that are not needed, cleaned up the lag parts, and also to bookmark key topics and questions. Within YouTube if you watch the video all the bookmarks are hyperlinks taking you to the part of the video so check the video description to find exactly what you need.

If you are interested in joining the Google Geeking PD Classroom then you need to request access to the Geeking PD Course. This is done to ensure I protect the educators are doing the learning, nothing more. I won’t bother you with things outside of this learning. When you fill out the form you will get an automated response at the end with the code and document.

A few important reminders!!!

  1. If you attended the webinar OR watched the recording PLEASE add your name to our note document. I have to report numbers for training so knowing how many attended allows me to continue to offer these types of supports.
  2. I have broken this webinar down into four steps in a Flipgrid that you can watch, interact, and practice here within Flipgrid. Please join us, make some videos, and learn with us all! Be sure to echeck out the Show and Tell. Please share an idea if you have one as well!
  3. In that Flipgrid link above I have created a new topic for us to pose questions, share thoughts, and more as we learn about Flipgrid. Let’s support one another!

Finally, I will be hosting a Beyond The Basics session next week to explore more awesome features of Flipgrid on May 7th at 9:00 am CST. if you are interested, then please sign up with the form. If you already attended the first session or are part of the Classroom, then no need to fill out the form again as I will send you the details.
