A few days back I put out a request for people to share ideas, brainstorm with their students, and anyone else who would like to get involved to contribute to a Google Slide called:
LEGO WeDo 2.0 Amusement Park Mechanism Brainstorm https://wp.me/p4covo-2pl
We are still actively seeking ideas as we try to come up with a list of mechanisms found in amusement parks and rides.
As we continue to brainstorm and develop ideas for teachers to have in their backpocket to use with students in a project like this I thought it would be only fair to do the work myself!
I have come up with a couple builds and hope you will too.
Here is the latest build which is a swing. I am challenging myself to use only the parts in the kit which does make this more challenging, but I am thinking equity as we build.
If you have a build you would like to share, then please link it in the slidedeck above along with any other great ideas you can share!
Enjoy
Lego Lab in Spartanburg, SC will be making this and posting our own ideas inspired by this. THANKS!!!
I cannot wait to see what they come up with! We will share builds from our summer program as well!
