Being part of the Microsoft Innovator Education Expert has been an amazing experience so far. Not only have I been able to bridge connections with educators around the world who challenge my thinking, but I have been exposed to the Surface product line that has opened my eyes to some amazing tools and tech that can enhance education, learning, and productivity. I am not making this statement just to be nice. I am finding more and more great uses for my Surface Pro 3.
This video is the unboxing of Microsoft latest product the Surface 3. The Surface 3 is a smaller version of the Surface Pro 3 and is perfect for classrooms. I will be providing a breakdown of specs and more in the upcoming episodes and posts once I get a chance to break them in and test things out, but for now I want to show you what I received in the kit.
If you are an educator, parent, or school looking for that device that is in that $400-$500 price range you MUST take a look at the Surface 3. I know Chromebooks are hot due to cost, but you can do so much more with the Surface.

All I will tell you is that I am talking to anyone who is considering a new device to consider the Surface product line. I have not been disappointed yet. It is not perfect, but I have more impressed with the Surface Pro 3 than I could have ever imagined.
